This morning, Broadwater will cruise to Bahia Salina del Sur (1.5hr passage), a protected bay which offers calm waters for watersports and a great base for kite surfing. As light starts to fade, Broadwater will relocate to Puerto Real Bay (1.5hr passage) where guests have the option to go ashore for a private guided kayak tour of the ‘brightest bay in the world,’ Mosquito Bay, which is lit by Bioluminescence plankton. All will love splashing their paddles and watching the plankton come to life. The bay’s glow-in-the-dark phenomenon is due to an abundance of tiny dinoflagellates – about 1,000,000 to 2,100,000 microorganisms per gallon of water.
